The Outwell Difference
Not all rooftop tents are created equal.
Rooftop camping has captured the imagination of adventurous travellers. The freedom to explore new destinations, the convenience of vehicle-based accommodation and the appeal of sleeping above the ground make it a wonderfully flexible way to enjoy the outdoors.
But when investing in a roof tent, the details matter. The quality of the materials, the construction of the base, the sleeping environment, the ventilation and the opening mechanism all influence how enjoyable your camping experience will be.
Outwell brings decades of camping equipment expertise to its rooftop tent collection. Rather than simply providing an elevated sleeping area, the range combines carefully considered features with the practicality and comfort expected from a respected outdoor specialist.
DESIGNED FOR REAL ADVENTURES
The difference is in the details.
Across the Outwell roof tent range, carefully chosen materials and innovative features help make rooftop camping a more comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Sleeping Comfort
Supportive integrated mattresses and thoughtfully designed sleeping spaces create an inviting retreat after a day of exploring.
Weather Protection
Durable Outtex fabrics, carefully engineered construction and protective features help prepare you for changing outdoor conditions.
Practical Innovation
From ventilation and Skyview windows to integrated lighting and practical storage details, Outwell focuses on the complete camping experience.

Important Buying Advice
Will an Outwell roof tent fit your vehicle?
Before purchasing any rooftop tent, it's essential to establish whether your vehicle and roof mounting system are suitable.
Check the vehicle manufacturer's permitted dynamic roof load, the capacity and suitability of your roof bars or roof rack, and the combined weight of the tent and mounting equipment.
The dynamic roof load applies while the vehicle is moving. It is different from the stationary or static loading capacity of the vehicle.
Your vehicle's roof structure, roof bars, fixing points and the manufacturer's instructions must all be considered. Do not assume that a roof tent is suitable simply because roof bars can be fitted.
Always confirm compatibility with your vehicle and roof-bar manufacturers before purchasing or fitting a roof tent.
